Whim House Retreat houses the finest collection of Bohemian glass in the UK.
The glass collection is candle-lit. Viewings take place at night at 19:00. Please note we have a strict policy of one person per viewing; if you have come to Whim House Retreat as a couple and your partner also wishes to see the collection, they will need to make a booking on a separate night. A member of staff will accompany you throughout, explaining each of the exhibits in turn. The viewing takes about 75 minutes and also involves a short explanation of cased-glass technology. To make a booking email info@whimhouseretreat.com. Before so doing, we strongly recommend you watch the following 12 minute video which features one of the pieces in the collection: it provides some useful background and will give you a foretaste of what you can expect on the night.
