There are very many species of wild birds at Whim House Retreat including robins, blackbirds, blue tits, great tits, chaffinches, chiffchaffs, geese, goldcrests, song thrushes, mistle thrushes, wrens and woodpeckers. Rabbits and deer also routinely wander in and out of the site from the surrounding forest.
There are a wide range of online resources which can assist you in appreciating local wildlife and more broadly throughout Scotland as a whole. A good place to start is the ‘Visit Scotland’ website.
